Fleet and Remarketing Manager

Mitsubishi Motors North America is looking for a Fleet and Remarketing Manager to join our Sales Operations team. As a Fleet and Remarketing Manager, you will manage rental and commercial fleet sales, administration and systems, corporate vehicle functions, remarketing functions and the CPO and VIP Programs.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage rental and commercial fleet sales:
    • Develop fleet sales volume forecast/fleet plan and amend as needed.
    • Develop & implement fleet sales proposals to RAC’s and government agencies, secure sales, prepare EC decks for approval, prepare & execute required contracts and communicate with all parties internally and externally.
    • Assist fleet customers with service/parts issues.
    • Update, post, manage tracking and dealer payments for the Commercial Fleet Program.
  • Manage the administrative and system operations of the rental/commercial fleet, remarketing and company car functions:
    • Manage fleet and company car wholesale shipments/retail sales by overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of systems and processes to allow for efficient forecasting, ordering, distribution, tracking, reporting and attainment of objective.
    • Manage auction sales, while maintaining optimum vehicle price/value, increasing sales rate, decreasing aged inventory and attainment of objectives (volume and gross margin).
    • Oversee the Vehicle Services Specialist and the Fleet/Remarketing Specialist in all duties.
    • Manage team, supporting programs, incentives, marketing strategies to enhance/ accomplish goals, and handle communication, internally and externally, to ensure optimum customer care/expedient problem resolution.
    • Complete, analyze and provide financial information, EC PP decks, Treasury bi-weekly reports, month end reports, accruals, fleet risk incentives, MMC audit of vehicles and internal audits of plates and gas cards, and manage department budgets/JSOX activities.
  • Manage the CPO Program:
    • Develop CPO sales volume forecast and complete monthly reports.
    • Update and manage tracking of CPO Program throughout month/year.
    • Develop/implement internal and external communication to enhance CPO Program, secure and track new dealer enrollment and CPO kits.
  • Manage the VIP Program:
    • Manage the VIP Programs for MMNA employees, enrolled Mitsubishi group companies, affiliate/vendor companies and Mitsubishi dealership employees.
    • Oversee automated VIP sales system, administrative activities including claims, company enrollment and employee programs, tracking, reporting and attainment of objective.
  • Manage the activities of work group members by providing opportunities for growth and development, by fostering an environment of open, honest communications, teamwork, creativity, high involvement, and productivity and efficiency. 
  • Other duties and projects as assigned or required

What you’ll have:

  • 7 – 10 years of exempt-level experience in automotive retail/wholesale including fleet/wholesale operations, sales and systems preferred.
  • 3 years previous supervisory/management experience preferred.
  • BS/BA degree in Business Administration or related area preferred.
  • Previous automotive sales experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in Wholesale Fleet, sales, administration and systems preferred.
  • Previous experience designing and implementing sales programs of significant scope preferred.
  • Some travel required.
  • Must maintain a valid unconditional driver’s license and MMNA approved driving record.
