Sr Strategist, Paid Social

The Mirum Social team is looking for someone who wants to grow their career in media as a paid social strategist. In this role you will be  the primary point person for social media modeling, planning and execution for the Mirum Social practice.   Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as lead for paid social media overseeing every step of the campaign process including strategy, planning and execution across all social platforms
  • Create sound, strategic media plans based on your understanding of client marketing, use of media research, industry, competitive environment and consumer insights
  • Work with Mirum activation, community management and strategy teams to develop social paid media strategies for a wide range of clients and commerce channels (traditional, eCommerce, D2C, B2B)
  • Develop and manage relationships with external media partnters and social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of social ecosystem and how to amplify content created by Influencers and for Community Management campaigns
  • Leverage knowledge of Social Platform capabilities to create Customer Experience (CX) campaigns that drive customers from the top of the purchase funnel ending in conversion
  • Perform Social platform audits that deliver performance insights, identify account/ campaign issues and high-level competitive insights. Based upon the audit provide  recommendations, growth opportunities and present findings to teams and clients
  • Direct and manage the daily work flow of all client campaigns, including proposal development, campaign activation and maintenance, and post-campaign reporting
  • Identify, train and implement the optimal process for most efficient workflow
  • Negotiate media buys and ensure the most competitive rates are secured
  • Play an active role in new business proposals meetings
  • Work with our analytics team and/or external partners to define campaign KPI metrics, evaluation modeling and optimization recommendations
  • Keep abreast of current events, media trends and any target/market/ industry trends that impact business
  • Provided clients and internal teams with strategic POVs and industry white papers
  • Manage financial contracts with vendors, media partners, campaign budgets and monthly invoicing/reconciliation
  • Oversee compliance with SOX and client policies and reporting

 Skills and Experience

  • Successful experience in social media planning/buying/optimization through vendor partners and/or social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.)
  • 5+ years of digital media experience
  • Experience with direct client relationship responsibilities including regular reporting, collaborative strategic planning, and performance management
  • History of creating lead generation, demand generation, account-based marketing, re-targeting, audience segmentation and commerce driven campaigns
  • Understanding social platform reporting tools as well as predictive analytics, sales attribution and CPM/CPE models
  • Media experience with programmatic, video, social, native and mobile
  • Ability to manage and mentor employees in direct and indirect situations
  • Attention to detail
  • Can roll with the punches and likes to have fun
