Mini-Circuits designs, manufactures and distributes integrated circuits, modules, and sub-systems for high-performance radio frequency (RF) and microwave applications. Position Summary:
The Tool & Die Maker is responsible for utilizing conventional machine shop equipment (milling machine, lathe, surface grinder) to fabricate precision die, tools and parts for fabrication of machinery and fixtures for production and engineering needs.
Salary Range: $29.30 - $44.00 per hour
Job Function:
- Operate standard machines and equipment (i.e. Milling Machine, Lathe and Grinders)
- Create holding fixtures for machining precision parts.
- Ability to use standard machine shop measurement and verification tools.
- Preventive maintenance and record keeping of Machine Shop equipment.
- Work from drawings or verbal instructions.
- Shut down any malfunctioning machine or equipment.
- Advise the Team Leader of any potential problems to avoid output delays.
- Follow detailed safety rules.
- Work in accordance with all Company procedures.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, Trade/Vocational school certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years recent, on the job experience in a similar function, highly preferred.
- Good knowledge of reading blueprints and CAD drawings.
- Ability to read, write and orally communicate in English.
- Ability to function successfully in a team-oriented environment.
- Highly detail oriented.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to operate a computer keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
