Mini-Circuits designs, manufactures and distributes integrated circuits, modules, and sub-systems for high performance radio frequency (RF) and microwave applications.  With design, sales and manufacturing locations in over 30 countries, Mini-Circuits’ products are used in a range of wired and wireless communications applications. Our products are also used in detection, measurement and imaging applications, including military communication, guidance and electronic countermeasure systems, commercial, scientific, military land, sea and aircraft; automotive systems, medical systems, and industrial test equipment.

Mini-Circuits’ sells its products to over 20,000 customers globally through our direct sales force, applications engineering staff, sales representatives, as well as through our extensive web site.

Position Summary:

The Inside Sales Representative is an entry-level position dedicated to performing essential administrative sales tasks, with the aim of fulfilling customer requests while upholding our quality standards and service expectations.

Salary Range: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Job Functions:

  • Process and execute customer procurement requests including but not limited to orders and quotes in accordance with department procedures.
  • Handle incoming internal & external customer phone calls.
  • Perform review of customer quotes to ensure active and prompt quote follow-up as applicable.
  • Provide general customer service support (i.e., respond to questions, requests for pricing, expedites, late order follow-up, etc.).
  • Maintain customer accounts and database with current customer requirements.
  • Act as needed to improve customer satisfaction, review with supervisor any customer complaints or dissatisfaction.
  • Occasionally work with external sales representatives on procurement requests.
  • Liaise between customers and internal Mini-Circuits departments.
  • Report any constraints to daily tasks to the supervisor for improvement or resolution.
  • Promote ISO 9001, ISO 14001, AND AS 9001 Awareness
  • Review for continuous improvement of department procedures and sales processes to ensure ongoing improvement and alignment with current practices.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree or 2+ years’ sales-related experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experienced with ERP software (A/S 400), not required, but encouraged.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. The employee frequently is required to sit and use their hands to operate a computer keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
