RF Test Engineer III - MMIC
Description
Mini-Circuits designs, manufactures and distributes integrated circuits, modules, and sub-systems for high-performance radio frequency (RF) and microwave applications. Mini-Circuits’ sells its products to over 20,000 customers globally through our direct sales force, applications engineering staff, sales representatives, as well as through our extensive website.
- Plan, set up, and calibrate test bench per plan; should be able to set up benches for various tests such as S-Parameters, Power, IP3, NF, etc. with PNAX.
- Test products in accordance with specifications, troubleshoot issues, and record verified-accurate test data.
- Provide engineering support to test, characterize, and qualify products.
- Help prepare new test procedures and generate block diagrams for existing and new test procedures.
- Assist in the efficient and cost-effective transition of design prototypes from engineering to production.
- Analyze and recommend improvements to production processes and methods to facilitate cost reduction and quality improvement.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to support the release of catalog product quotas and customer specials.
- Bachelor's Degree + 6 years of experience in RF Product Design & Test, or related field OR
- Master's Degree + 4 years of experience in RF Product Design & Test, or related field.
- Should have a good understanding of PNAX calibration and test capabilities and be able to configure and make accurate S-Parameter, power, noise, and intermodulation measurements.
- Experience or course work in microwave millimeter-wave hardware design, including electrical, mechanical, thermal, and test environment.
- Demonstrated hands-on ability to assemble, tune, test, and troubleshoot hardware in a laboratory environment.
- Basic understanding of surface mount and microelectronic chip-and-wire manufacturing methods and techniques.
