Description
Mini-Circuits designs, manufactures and distributes integrated circuits, modules, and sub-systems for high-performance radio frequency (RF) and microwave applications. With design, sales and manufacturing locations in over 30 countries, Mini-Circuits’ products are used in a range of wired and wireless communications applications. Mini-Circuits’ sells its products to over 20,000 customers globally through our direct sales force, applications engineering staff, sales representatives, as well as through our extensive website.
Position Summary:
Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
- Operating System:
- Perform periodic reviews of endpoints, servers to ensure security agents are installed, functioning correctly, and updated to the latest stable release.
- Install updates on servers and workstations using PDQ, WSUS, or Intune
- Manage VMWARE esxi, CISCO ASA VPN, back up and replication
- Manage Storage Area Network (SAN)
- Vulnerability Management:
- Review scan results and prioritize patches based on risk and impact.
- Collaborate with server and end user compute teams to determine and implement the necessary steps to mitigate discovered vulnerabilities.
- Deploy software updates and patches to remediate known security vulnerabilities.
- Engineering R&D Support:
- Evaluate software installation requests, software development environment setups, and RF lab setups for the Engineering R&D departments.
- Maintain an inventory of Ethernet-connected lab equipment and ensure it is on a segregated network, working closely with the IT Networking team.
- Act as a business partner for the Engineering R&D team, evaluating IT requests, like new software installations, performing risk analyses, license reviews, and feasibility assessments.
- Alert Investigation:
- Respond to and investigate alerts escalated by the Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Provide timely and accurate incident reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Review windows event logs.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing Windows workstations and Servers.
- Experience with endpoint security solutions and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with PDQ, Active Directory, Intune, Azure Entra ID, Exchange Online.
- Understanding of Virtualization / VMs and Storage.
- Understanding of Microsoft Group Policy Orchestrator (GPO).
- Understanding of basic networking protocols like DNS, DHCP, IP addresses.
