Position Summary:
The CAD Clerical Documentation Specialist is responsible for maintaining the integrity of items through data entry, documentation record keeping, and implementing tasks of incoming Engineering Change Orders (ECO/DCO/NPO).
Salary Range: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
Job Function:
- Create or update procedural documents, test specifications (-50 pages) and other text documents using word processing software.
- Implement Document Control Orders (DCO) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO) for procedural documents, test specifications (-50 pages) and other text documents utilizing current PLM system and interact with respective members on review and approval of created or updated documents and DCO/ECO.
- Maintain electronic file archives and ensure revision control of pages is in sync with updates in PLM.
- AS400 data entry and maintenance (update/enter model routing and other applicable item data). Ensure all model routings are properly entered and updated to current standard.
- Check daily list of production runs moved to Documentation Work Center. Utilize PLM system to review the status of items on that list and either hold (item has open ECO, wrong type of the production run, etc.) or move production runs to the next Working Center.
- Collaborate/expedite with appropriate members on closure of ECO that affect production runs.
- Create H-Run Evaluation Form for eligible H-Runs and EH-Runs.
- Assist in reviewing statuses of catalog models to determine their eligibility for removing of documentation hold. Remove eligible catalog models from documentation hold.
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve missing or inconsistent data.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
- 0-2 years of experience in a data-entry or clerical role.
- Proficient computer skills (particularly Microsoft Word).
- Detail-oriented.
- Experience in maintaining databases and PLM knowledge is a plus.
