Assistant Social Media Manager

Mindshare is an agency of GroupM, the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Social Listener to join us. You will be responsible for managing relationships for digital insights for both external and internal clients. Additionally, you will be expected to effectively coordinate with the internal stakeholders and clients to ensure accurate delivery of the committed services to the clients.

In this role, your goals will be:
In three months:
- Managed client expectations on regular deliverables
- Independently manage requirement on Insights and reporting
In six months:
- Successfully communicated ongoing actionable insights to the client
- Have a complete control over listening tools and page management

- Emerged as the go-to person both internally and amongst clients for digital solutions.
- Become proficient is escalation handling and resolve conflicts.
What your day looks like at Mindshare:
- Oversees Telenor’s social media platforms on daily basis.
- Develops engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly scheduled posts, which enlighten audiences and promote brand-focused messages.
- Actively look for social media trends and come up with relevant and engaging content.
- Audits and analyses social media presence of competing brands, craft the social media content strategy to be on top of the competition.
- Analyses social media campaigns with tracking systems to gather visitor data and determine efficacy and areas for social media campaign improvement.
- Prepares weekly and monthly social media audit reports for brand and competition.
- Manages social listening for the brand, along with benchmarking and analyzing the competition.
- Covers events for Telenor Pakistan’s social media accounts (in person availability & basic videography/photography skills required)
- Works with the Digital Marketing Team to develop social media timelines coinciding with new campaigns, or other brand messages.
What you will need:
- Must be an BBA from a reputable university of equivalent.
- 06 - 1 year experience in digital planning / marketing / media.
- Keen interest in Digital and its trends.
- Strong oral and written communication skills/ presentation skills.
- Google Certified
- Proficiency in major social media platforms i.e., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube etc.
- Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts
- Basic understanding of tools like Photoshop, Canva, Sprinklr, Brandwatch and creative/social listening tools.
- Experience with business to customer social media and content generation
- Strong creative and analytical skills
- Fluency in content writing, and creative marketing ideas.
