Overview of the job

GroupM is currently looking for a Senior Executive, Media Planning to join one of our growing client teams.

This role requires and strong background in media, with experience in digital planning and implementation. You will be tasked with developing multi-channel media recommendations across Singapore and in some cases regionally. You be leveraging and coordinating the resources within GroupM, to achieve the best outcome for your client.
 
Reporting of the role
This role reports to the Partner, Client Leadership

Measures of success 
In three months:
  • Acquire a solid understanding of client’s business challenges and short/mid-term priorities
  • Receive great feedback from co-workers and key client contacts - as a result of a positive, proactive attitude and efficient working style.
  • Have a full understanding of the agency’s internal processes and partnerships.
  • Deliver communication and media strategies to drive brand growth.
In six months:
  • Earnt the trust and respect of both the team and agency as whole.
  • Take ownership of the client campaigns and deliverables.
  • Properly justifying recommendations and post campaign analysis.
  • Recommending ways to optimize and improve ways of working.
In 12 months:
  • Become an integral part of the core team and a valued member of the agency.
  • Achieving clients’ satisfaction goals and increasing business and commercial results.
  • Established yourself as lead on managing your sets of clients in terms of engagement, communication and reporting.
Responsibilities of the role:
  • Direct point of contact for key client relationships and campaign related deliverables.
  • Operational knowledge and hands on campaign implementation required.
  • Develop and drive projects/campaigns for assigned brands - this will include the ability to align with clients on new planning approaches/innovation.
  • Work with key media partners for implementation planning and negotiation.
  • Understand the client’s business, category and market position.
  • Presentation of implementation ideas to clients, across different platforms.
  • Assist your line manager in setting viable objectives, KPIs, and recommend/develop measurement methodology.
  • Work with the team on competitive reporting and analysis.
  • Ensure projects/campaigns are tracked and measured based on agreed KPIs and media efficiencies.
  • Work with internal specialist resources and group resources.
What you will need:
  • 1-2 years of account planning experience
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders, e.g. suppliers, advertising/marketing agencies, media owners and internal specialist resources.
  • Good understanding of media planning and buying, across all platforms with and working knowledge on digital media (e.g. programmatic, social and SEM).
  • Understanding of the industry, business, brands and consumers in client conversations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
