Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Psychotherapist to join our team. The ideal candidate is licensed (non Associate) in California, Texas or Georgia and will provide mental health services to clients, utilizing various therapeutic techniques and interventions all in a remote setting. This position is available for part-time and/or full-time (with benefits).
Job Responsibilities:
- Establishes positive, trusting rapport with patients, other clinic providers and staff.
- Diagnoses and treats various mental and behavioral health disorders.
- Creates individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances.
- Meets with patients regularly to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans, as necessary.
- Conducts and document ongoing assessments of patient progress.
- Involves and advises family members when appropriate.
- Refers patients to other MHS providers or outside specialists or agencies when necessary.
- Maintains thorough records of patient meetings and progress.
- Follows all safety protocols and maintains client confidentiality.
- Contributes to clinic and practice by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
- Comply with all company polices, procedures and protocols, and all state and federal regulatory requirements.
Duties:
- Attend weekly team meeting
- Conduct individual or group therapy sessions
- Seek supervision with clinical director as appropriate/necessary
- Develop treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge
- Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and assessments
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Offer support and guidance to clients dealing with various mental health issues
Skills/licensing/requirements:
- LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, PsyD
- Proficiency in behavioral health practices
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology principles
- Experience in providing behavioral therapy
- Ability to work effectively with geriatric patients
- Strong skills in medical documentation and record keeping
- Competence in diagnostic evaluation procedures
- Experience in providing care for individuals with PTSD and moderate to severe depression
- Familiarity with/willing to work with TMS, Esketamine and other progressive interventions
- Willing to facilitate group therapy sessions
