Position Overview:

This is not your typical OB Sales Role… this is a “find a way or make one” kind of role in which you are empowered to test and learn, coach others and drive engagement through coaching.  We will provide proven scripts that work, systems that guide you, and the leads to dial, but you have to execute and most of all; influence others to do the same. This is not a role where you will coach without selling and practicing what you preach. To be successful, you must be able to do the role, assess yourself and others, and work with the team to find new ways to enable solutions for our clients.  You will be a mentor, a peer and most importantly, an advocate for performance based coaching.

 Skills/Requirements:

  • A top-producing salesperson and loves the art of selling; and who sets goals and then takes the necessary action to conquer them
  • Substantial work experience as a Sales Coach, Sales Trainer or similar role for 1-2 years
  • Familiarity with role-playing activities and e-learning platforms that enable group skill building
  • Hands-on experience creating presentations (e.g. videos or slides), sales huddle activity, and engagement activities
  • Strong 1-on-1 communication skills in order to co-create customized coaching plans
  • Work independently on a day-to-day basis while also communicating real time with your leadership team and program partners by phone, email, or in person
  • Organized and detail-oriented individual who values getting stuff DONE!
  • Believes in having fun and being creative in the workplace
  • Is always learning and growing

 Must Understand:

  • Performance based goal setting, coaching and engagement incentives while balancing real time delivery of metrics
  • What makes an effective coaching conversation
  • How to enable motivation in others
  • The art of negotiation and principles of influence
  • New technology and how to use it in your business, including but not limited to social media, business tools, and mobile apps
  • PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook

 Day in the Life:

  • Handle OB calls, and deliver extraordinary customer solutions
  • Engage in "on-site" training initiatives for the team; i.e. Sales Huddles or Team Incentives
  • Support learning solutions and/or events using all mediums including live calls, in-class, e-learning, virtual and blended or engagement communications
  • Partner with internal/external teams to ensure training materials & documentation is current and relevant given market changes and evolution or sales practices
  • Measure, evaluate and track activity, observations and performance metrics to demonstrate improvements
  • Participate in weekly client meetings and/or QBRs

 Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive sales experience
  • Post-secondary degree or college diploma or certificate in business, human resources, adult learning or a related field preferred is an asset
  • Exceptional sales skills with proven success, and KPI driven
  • Customer centric, responsive with high sense of urgency in meeting timelines
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) & Google (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
