As a Logistics Supervisor with MidwayUSA you would be responsible for receiving, warehousing, and order fulfillment processes that drive key performance measures associated with service, quality and cost. Our Logistics Supervisors must be process-oriented and have previously demonstrated an ability to lead a team of people within a warehouse environment of processes and procedures.

Sample of Specific Duties: 

  • Direct the activities of a team of 15-30 people.
  • Coach, train, motivate, and develop team members to perform at a high level each and every day.
  • Monitor performance and reliability rate.
  • Evaluate process adherence, repeat-ability, efficiency, and implement continuous improvement actions.

Candidate Requirements: 

  • Bachelors degree is preferred, but not required.
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proven effectiveness in managing interpersonal relationships and developing subordinates.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills.
  • A high level of dedication complimented by dependability, an ability to lead by example, and a desire to succeed.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and an ability to learn proprietary software applications.
  • The ability to work weekend shifts.
