As a IT Infrastructure Intern with MidwayUSA, you will assist with desk top and hardware support and be introduced to Server and Network Technology concepts.  In this intern role, you will assist with any hardware problem resolution for all MidwayUSA users.  This IT Infrastructure Intern opening will be for the summer of 2025.  

To qualify for an internship with MidwayUSA, IT Infrastructure Intern applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. The intern should be within 12-18 months of completing all requirements for a Bachelor's degree from an accredited program. 
2. Able to work approximately 16 hours per week/2 hour block minimum at a time, during the school year and some hours when school is not in session. 
3. Minimum of 3.0 GPA
4. Enrolled in a qualified higher education program in a field related to the internship opportunity
5. Live locally in the Columbia, MO area

Sample of specific duties for the IT Infrastructure Intern:

• Assists with identifying, diagnosing, and resolving level one hardware and software issues related to users
• Assists with supporting monitors, tests, and troubleshooting hardware and software problems pertaining to users
• Assists with Identifying, completing, or scheduling repairs to user equipment
• Assists with providing end users support for local installed and LAN-based applications

The ideal candidate for the IT Infrastructure Internship:

• Will be/are pursuing a Bachelors degree in a technical discipline
• Natural Curiosity and a desire to learn new technology and concepts.
• Training and working knowledge with Microsoft workstation operating systems within one release of the current general release by Microsoft, one year of relevant experience preferred
• Good knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures related to daily user requirements.
