To strengthen our team at the Redmond location, we are looking for a Accounts Payable Administrator.   
      
Pay Range:      
The pay range for this Washington-based role is $27hr - $34hr. Exact compensation offers will vary based on skills, experience, and location.      
This role may be eligible for a new hire equity grant and/or a performance-based equity incentive plan.      
      
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:       
  • Perform full cycle accounts payable functions from receipt of invoices to payment, including coding invoices, matching purchase orders, obtaining approvals, and entering the invoices into our Accounts Payable Automation Software.
  • Prepare batch check runs, wire transfers, and ACH transactions.
  • Process employee expense reports, including verification of receipts and coding.
  • Responsible for monthly accounts payable journal entries.
  • Ensure all accounts payable policies, procedures, and SOX controls are adhered to including travel and related expenses, vendor approval and invoice processing.
  • Responsible for IRS 1099 compliance and reporting.
  • Manage vendor relations and build effective partnerships.
  • Assist team with gathering support for all audits.
  • Research and resolve problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons.
 Required Skills:       
  • Intermediate knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database software, i.e., Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook. Prior experience with Concur expense and NetSuite ERP system software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with transactions in foreign currencies.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Maintains appropriate levels of confidentiality in all levels of documentation, communication, and planning.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, changing environment, manage moderately complex projects and multiple tasks with a strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Required Experience and Education:       
  • At least four years of accounts payable experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and provide administrative support.
  • Prior experience in a small and fast paced accounting organization desired. 
  • Proven ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently and to manage expectations as well as deliverables. 
  •  accounts payable experience or bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related area of study if no prior Accounts Payable experience.

You must live and reside within commuting distance from MicroVision’s headquarters in Redmond, WA.
