Summary
This position supports the Construction & Development (C&D) data and analytics function by delivering reporting, data solutions, and analytical insights that enable effective management of capital projects and departmental operations.
The role is technical and data-focused, responsible for developing and maintaining reporting tools, improving data quality, and supporting data-driven decision-making across C&D. The incumbent will work closely with project teams and business stakeholders to translate operational needs into scalable data and reporting solutions, while independently managing assigned workstreams.
Responsibilities
Under the guidance of managers, support the department in executing tasks that are relevant to the business unit in which they are working.
Maintain dashboards, reports, and data models to support C&D project and operational reporting.
Extract, transform, and validate data from project management, financial, and enterprise systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Perform detailed analysis of capital project data, including budget, cost, and performance metrics.
Support forecasting, variance analysis, and financial tracking for projects and programs.
Partner with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical reporting and data solutions.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve data quality, reporting processes, and overall efficiency through automation and standardization.
Maintain datasets, documentation, and data governance practices to ensure transparency and reliability of reporting.
Prepare presentations and reporting materials for leadership, highlighting key insights, risks, and trends.
Serve as a point of contact for data-related inquiries within C&D, supporting users in understanding and utilizing available reporting tools.
Independently manage assigned tasks and projects, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Course Work in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.
Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar tools.
