Responsibilities:
Under supervision, the analyst will receive training in the planning, development, implementation, and execution of the Subways' capital program. This role supports the NYCT Subways capital program by working closely with the Department of Subways’ (DOS) operating divisions to align project priorities and manage budgets. The analyst will assist with cost analysis, databases updates for tracking and auditing reimbursable budget processes, and the creation of reports to summarize or analyze forecasting, costing, and other data. Additionally, the analyst will support other duties related to the Assistant Transit Management Analyst role or contribute to broader capital program initiatives within the Department of Subways.
Education and Experience:
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
Desired Skills:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
Expertise in financial and budget analysis and estimating techniques
Capability to develop, collect, formulate, manage, and maintain databases, spreadsheets, cost estimates, project schedules, and reports
Selection Method:
Based on evaluation of education, skills, experience, and interview.
All appointments, with the exception of the Department of Subways employees on MABSTOA payroll, will be made on the NYCT payroll.
