Compensation 
 
 
Salary Range: $109,876 - $155,953 (Grade B – 839 hay points) 

Responsibilities   
  
This position is responsible for providing safe and reliable buses to allow for the daily delivery of reliable service for the riding public for an entire depot or maintenance shop within Buses. This includes overseeing day-to-day facilities and equipment maintenance activities.  This requires developing, implementing, and maintaining strict budgets and directing managers and supervisors to accomplish depot/division goals. Coordinates activities with Buses and the community at large in response to issues that arise and changing priorities.  The selected candidate will also manage a full-scale disciplinary and labor relations process.  
 
Education and Experience
  
  1. Eight (8) years of full-time related professional experience, and at least four (4) years of which must have been in a supervisory/managerial capacity.
  2. The incumbent must have previous experience in the title of Assistant General Superintendent, Maintenance, or an equivalent title; or
  3. A satisfactory equivalent of the combined education and experience requirements.
Desired Skills  
  • Knowledge of Buses policies and procedures.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Buses maintenance operations, including preventative maintenance, contract administration and equipment specifications.
  • Knowledge of labor relations.
  • The ability to make decisions rapidly and under pressure and constrained by the availability of labor and equipment.
  • The ability to analyze information, assess its reliability and make related operational decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
