Grade B/Hay:823 - Represented: $113,172 - $160,206
 
Responsibilities: 
The Sr. Director of Facilities Project Management is responsible for managing capital project delivery within Facilities for all Facilities Capital Construction projects. This position is responsible for project management activities that ensure project delivery is safe, efficient, on schedule, within budget and per project documents, contract documents, drawings, specifications, and relevant policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.  The candidate will oversee the planning, development, delivery and closeout of all projects.  Additionally, the candidate will monitor project status, mitigate risk, identify critical paths related to long lead items, and resolve project issues, consulting with and providing recommendations to senior management for critical issue resolution.  The position coordinates project delivery activities with C&D (Construction & Delivery) Delivery and Development, impacted Department of Subways stakeholders, Code Compliance, OSS, and field personnel.  Coordinate and manage staff, contractors, consultants, and other forces in safe and efficient planning of capital projects. 
 
Education and Experience: 
  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, Project Management, Business Administration, Transportation, or related field.
  • Nine (9) years of full-time experience, plus Five (5) years in a managerial or supervisory position.
All appointments, with the exception of the Department of Subways employees on MABSTOA payroll, will be made on the NYCT payroll.
