RESPONSIBILITIES:
The selected candidate will play a vital role in the MOW Communication and System Engineering team, focusing on analyzing group resources, evaluating performance metrics, and managing the configuration of communication and system assets. This position requires overseeing system-wide material assets. Key responsibilities include the dynamic collection of data on group activities and resources, as well as the development and maintenance of metric analytics, data visualization tools, and shared access to resources. They will work under direction but have significant latitude to take independent initiatives and make informed judgments. The role involves utilizing various computer software and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Access, and databases such Power Apps, Power BI, to collect, analyze, and present data effectively. |
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Assistant Transit Management Analyst I & 2
1. Master's degree from an accredited college in business administration, public admin.,
public policy, engineering, economics, architecture, math, physics, computer science,
accounting, transportation planning or urban planning and 1 year of satisfactory full-time
professional experience in the collection, evaluation and use of data relating to
operational procedures, administrative systems, equipment and space utilization, and
staffing requirements, including the preparation of charts, graphs, maps, drawings and
technical reports;
2. Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in business administration, public
administration, engineering, engineering technology, economics, architecture, math,
physics, computer science, accounting or urban planning, and 2 years of satisfactory
full-time professional experience in the areas described in "1" above.
Associate Transit Management Analyst
1. A master's degree from an accredited college in business administration, public
administration, public policy, engineering, economics, architecture, mathematics,
physics, computer science, accounting, transportation planning or urban planning and tw
years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in the collection, evaluation and
use of data relating to operational procedures, administrative systems, equipment, and
space utilization, and staffing requirements, including the preparation of charts, graphs,
maps, drawings, and technical reports. One year of this experience must have been in the
mass transportation industry; or
2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in business administration, public
administration, engineering, engineering technology, economics architecture,
mathematics, physics, computer science, accounting or urban planning, and three years o
satisfactory full-time professional experience as described in "1" above. One year of this
experience must have been in the mass transportation industry.

use of data relating to operational procedures, administrative systems, equipment, and

maps, drawings, and technical reports. One year of this experience must have been in the
mass transportation industry; or
2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in business administration, public
administration, engineering, engineering technology, economics architecture,
mathematics, physics, computer science, accounting or urban planning, and three years o
satisfactory full-time professional experience as described in "1" above. One year of this
experience must have been in the mass transportation industry.
DESIRED SKILLS
- Proficiency with data visualization software (e.g., Power Apps, Power BI, RSMIS, Hexagon)
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Access)
- Strong problem-solving and data analysis abilities
- Knowledge of material and resource forecasting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written, verbal, spatial, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience with contract administration and recordkeeping.
- Skilled in preparing and summarizing production and planning reports
- Knowledge and experience with inventory management
- High attention to detail with strong mathematical and calculation skills
- Knowledge of electrical circuits and reading blueprints (a plus)
- Knowledge of Drafting tools such as AutoCAD or MicroStation (a plus)
