Job Responsibilities

Provide technical engineering support to ICC tradespersons, supervisors and managers dedicated to the task of eliminating high priority structural nonconformities in NYCT stations, subway tunnels, elevated and viaduct structures as well as other NYCT line structures.
 
Provide supervision and oversight to positions within MOW Engineering such as Civil Engineers, Analyst, and MS II positions involved in the initiative of eliminating high priority structural nonconformities via coordination, review of scope development, design calculations and drawings, inspections and final acceptance of completed structural work by in house or outside contractors.
 
Identify high priority structural nonconformities within all asset categories as outlined in the Structural Inspection PI.  Ensure all applicable codes and design guidelines are adhered to.
 
Provide information such as tracking, graphing and reporting of structural nonconformities to senior MOW Engineering management regarding status of nonconformities from identification to final repair and acceptance.
 
Respond to emergencies and trouble calls of a structural nature throughout the NYCT system as needed.


Compensation 

Salary range: $93,473-$132,672, Grade D, 634 hay points

Education/Experience 

A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and 5 years full-time related work experience, 2 of which must have been in a managerial/supervisory capacity.

*NYS P.E License is required*
