Position Title: Emerging Talent Team Intern
Hourly Rate $19.00 (Undergraduate), $21.00 (Graduate)
Overview of Department:
The Emerging Talent team is responsible for attracting, engaging, and developing early-career talent for the MTA. We manage internship programs, student outreach, and recruitment initiatives to build a strong pipeline of future professionals. The intern will support a strong pipeline of future talent for the MTA by supporting recruitment, engagement, and program administration for early-career professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Perform code cleanups to optimize system performance and maintainability.
- Manage repository setup, build processes, and updates to forms.
- Develop a framework for dashboards to be implemented upon completion of code cleanup.
- Compile and organize information for database creation and initiate database development.
- Ensure accuracy of active program participants and conversions by mid-February.
- Build a termination, continuation, and exit request database by end of March.
- Design and implement a manager-facing database to track internship program information (e.g., intern status, start/end dates).

Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must.
- Interest in recruitment, human resources, or talent acquisition preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Strong experience with repository management
- Familiarity with database design, development, and data validation.
Ability to translate program requirements into functional technical solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and timelines, with proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience with dashboards and reporting frameworks is a plus.
Required Education:
- Matriculated in an undergraduate program with at least a 2.6 GPA or a graduate program with at least a 2.8 GPA.
- Major(s) Preferred: Human Resources, Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Psychology, Communications, General Liberal Arts
