Position Title: Enterprise Asset Management, Emerging Talent Intern
Hourly Rate $19.00 (Undergraduate), $21.00 (Graduate), $22.00 (Post-Graduate)
Overview of Department:
The Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Intern will help create and maintain continuity for each of the divisions utilizing EAM, analyze asset datasets, build software applications and help implement cost saving projects. The intern will gain proficiency in software development in data analytics, data transformation utilizing excel/python/SQL, project and time management on large initiatives. The intern will support the oversight of asset management activities within subways.
Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis for EAM
- Create software scripts for data transformation and utilize SQL Queries
- Project Management, manage tasks to move projects and initiatives forward
- Troubleshooting EAM application, problem-solving and customer service
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities where EAM solutions can support organization needs.
- Maintain a process for identifying defects and troubleshooting production reported issues collectively with the team implement solutions
- Document and uphold standards for software implementation
- Additionally, the candidate will be expected to perform other ad hoc duties as required.
Projects:
- EAM data driven analysis
- Increased data population in HxGN
- Increased engagement in the overall EAM initiative
Required Qualifications:
- Thrive in a fast-paced, customer service environment with strong project management and deadline focus.
- Detail-oriented, independent, and adaptable, with sound judgment and analytical skills.
- Advanced Excel (spreadsheets, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and basic SQL/software development knowledge.
- Self-teach Microsoft Suite, EAM, and PeopleSoft.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Required Education:
- Matriculated in undergraduate in good standing with at least 2.5 GPA or graduate program with at least a 2.8 GPA.
- Major(s): Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering- (Various), Geography, Geographic Interface Systems, Math, Finance, Psychology, or related field.
