Transit Management Analyst Trainee: $56,586 (TA)
 
Responsibilities:   
Facilities Management is seeking a candidate to provide administrative support. The selected individual will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including, but not limited to:
  • Maintaining and updating databases.
  • Extracting, processing, and analyzing data.
  • Preparing and setting up meetings and related materials.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and tracking correspondence and bulletins.
  • Disseminating information, responding to questions, and communicating directives.

Education and Experience:    

Transit Management Analyst Trainee:
1. A master's degree from an accredited college in accounting, architecture, business administration, computer science, economics, engineering, engineering technology, finance, industrial psychology, mathematics, physics, public administration, public policy, transportation planning, urban planning/studies, human resources management, labor relations, operations research, security management or in a related area; or 
2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college including or supplemented by 24 credits in one of the areas listed in "1" above.

Desired Skills:

  • Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills including conflict resolution.
  • Excellent organizational skills, reporting, calendaring; detailed oriented.
  • Ability to preserve and maintain confidentiality with sensitive documents.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office 365 applications.
Selection Method:  
Based on evaluation of education, skills, experience, and interview.  
All appointments, with the exception of the Department of Subways employees on MABSTOA payroll, will be made on the NYCT payroll.
