The SIRTOA Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) is carrying out an agency-wide initiative to optimize the way we manage our assets throughout their lifecycle and to implement changes that result in more cost-effective and performance-based decision-making. EAM Manager seeks to integrate systematic and coordinated activities by targeting the best asset management practices to create guidelines for business practices, redesigning business processes to increase operational efficiency and reach goals more productively and implementing information technology strategically as a tool to improve decision-making and reduce risks, which will yield greater assets and enhance the transfer of knowledge seamlessly.
COMPENSATION:
Salary Range: $ 75,942 - $ 112,689, Grade F, 438 Hay points
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The incumbent will be responsible for managing the resolution of all user issues with SIR EAM software, mobile applications, and corresponding hardware.
- Creating, implementing and managing the SIR EAM support model to create qualitative metrics for all types of user support services.
- The incumbent will be documenting and creating audit processes for quality control of all current assets and in preparation for the future, perform field audits, monitor, and report to appropriate SIR & NYCT stakeholders concerning SIR EAM user issues and support performance.
- In addition, the incumbent will be managing the SIR EAM support groups backlog of existing user requests assuring efficient and timely problem resolution, identifying problem trends, and ensuring troubleshooting efforts are completed for the recurring problems until resolved.
- The incumbent will also be assisting with all SIR EAM program assignments including budget planning & management, strategic planning & risk management.
- Performing change management activities including the preparation and execution of communications, training, coaching, risk, and resistance management.
- The incumbent will also be responsible for maintaining the audit file for each contract which will include the original contract, all correspondence, changes/deviations, amendments, clarifications, and payment schedules.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A baccalaureate degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field with five (5) years of experience of which three (3) years must have been in an administrative/supervisory/managerial capacity -or- A satisfactory equivalent of education and experience.
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Knowledge of Business Process analysis, able to create Business Requirement Documentation (BRD), and configure EAM System Software based on individual departmental needs
- Knowledge of database development, maintenance, backup, and recovery
- Basic knowledge of Client-Server technology, IT hardware/software configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities
- Detail-oriented, patient, and fond of working with a large amount of data, maintaining database integrity
- Reliable, responsible, and a team player
- Strong project management, analytical and quantitative skills
- Customer service oriented
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and other analytical and communications tools
- Knowledge of NYCT policies and procedures (desirable, not essential)
- Experience supporting EAM/CMMS users and/or mobile device users (desirable, not essential)
- Proficiency in EAM systems (CMMS, Mobility, etc.) and advanced support methodologies (desirable, not essential)
- Understanding of transportation planning and/or operations concepts (desirable, not essential)
- Provide support/coverage to the IT team, as needed
- Available to work as needed including during the weekends and off-hours
