COMPENSATION 
Salary Range:
Assistant Transit Management Analyst I (TA): $65,954 - $78,079  
Assistant Transit Management Analyst II (TA): $76,577 - $85,288  
Associate Transit Management Analyst (TA): $86,565 - $112,083 
  
RESPONSIBILITIES:  
The selected candidate will play a vital role in DCE Production & Planning, focusing on the analysis, research, and strategic planning necessary for railcar systems and components to maintain the optimal performance of our car fleets. This position requires overseeing system-wide material forecasts for various shops, involving a comprehensive review process, vigilant monitoring, and diligent approval procedures to ensure seamless operations and efficiency. 
They will work under direction but have significant latitude to take independent initiatives and make informed judgments. The role involves utilizing various computer software and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Power BI, Access, and databases such as RSMIS and Hexagon (EAM), to collect, analyze, and present data effectively. 
  
  
  
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : 
  
Assistant Transit Management Analyst I & Assistant Transit Management Analyst II:   
    
A master's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, public policy, engineering, engineering technology, economics, architecture, mathematics, physics, computer science, finance, accounting, transportation planning, industrial psychology, urban planning/studies, human resources management, labor relations, operations research, security management or in a related area, and at least one year of full-time satisfactory professional experience in the collection, evaluation and use of data relating to operational procedures, administrative systems, equipment and space utilization, and staffing requirements, including the preparation of charts, graphs, drawings and technical reports; or 
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in one of the areas listed in "1" above; and two years of full-time satisfactory experience as described in "1" above. 
    
Associate Transit Management Analyst:   
    
A master's degree from an accredited college in business administration, public administration, public policy, engineering, engineering technology, economics, architecture, mathematics, physics, computer science, finance, accounting, transportation planning, industrial psychology, urban planning/studies, human resources management, labor relations, operations research, security management or in a related area, and two years of full-time satisfactory professional experience in the collection, evaluation and use of data relating to operational procedures, administrative systems, equipment and space utilization, and staffing requirements, including the preparation of charts, graphs, drawings and technical reports. One year of experience must have been in the transportation industry; or 
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in one of the areas listed in "1" above; and three years of full-time satisfactory experience as described in "1" above. One year of this experience must have been in the transportation industry.
