Compensation:
Maintenance Supervisor II (Elec. Power) Salary Range: 
1st Year – Entrance          $110,381 
2nd Year                           $111,951
3rd Year                            $115,888
 
Responsibility:
Assist management in the planning and directing of maintenance and defect correction activities. Maintain logs and records, provide verbal and written reports as required. The development of monthly and annual material requirements, as needed, ensure timely acquisition and distribution of material, develop strategic and tactical plans to enable the division to better utilize limited material and workforce resources, direct emergency response by Electrical Operations, Maintenance and Cable personnel.  
 
Make on-site evaluation of emergency situations and recommend appropriate level and type of response required. Develop action plans to improve productivity and accountability. Oversee Maintenance and repair operations to ensure personnel adherence to MOW Safety and Office of System Safety policies, 'safety rules' and procedures. Responsible for the safety of employees, work site safety, and respond to safety issues/incidents that may occur under their jurisdiction. 
 
The incumbent may also be required to assume the responsibilities of the Superintendent in the absence of the Superintendent, if so directed. The incumbent will undertake any other tasks required by management. 
 
Education and Experience:
Five years of full-time satisfactory experience with a major railroad or transit authority installing, repairing and maintaining substation equipment and associated supervisory control equipment; at least one year of this experience must have been in a supervisory capacity.

Based on evaluation of education, skills, experience and interview.
