This position is eligible for telework which is currently one day per week. New hires are eligible to apply 30 days after their effective date of hire. 
SUMMARY:
 
Reporting directly to the Director of HCM Solution Architect and Data Steward, the Senior Manager of HCM Systems and Change Integration leads the strategic enhancement of the PeopleSoft HCM platform, focusing on centralizing HR processes in the ERP system to establish it as the definitive source of truth and maximizing its functionality to meet the evolving organizational needs. This senior role involves comprehensive oversight of HCM system configurations, managing major change initiatives, spearheading detailed reporting and analytics, and ensuring rigorous data management to support decision-making processes and operational efficiencies across the company.
 
The complexity and scope of the Senior Manager of HCM Systems and Change Integration role requires an exceptional leader who combines deep functional expertise, advanced technical skills, and a strategic vision. This leader is tasked with spearheading the adoption and enhancement of cutting-edge PeopleSoft HCM modules. More than just technical upgrades, their role encompasses a comprehensive and strategic overhaul of the HR systems to ensure they are not only aligned with, but also anticipatory of, the evolving needs and goals of our organization.
 
In this capacity, the Senior Manager of HCM Systems and Change Integration will be the driving force behind the advancement of our HCM capabilities. They will play a crucial role in the seamless integration of PeopleSoft functionalities across our HR ecosystem. This position is key to creating a culture of continuous improvement, pushing the boundaries of HR technology to boost operational efficiency, enhance user engagement, improve employee satisfaction, and increase organizational agility.
 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Strategic Implementation and System Enhancement:
  • Spearhead the strategic analysis and planning phases for new and existing PeopleSoft HCM modules. Focus on critical areas such as Workforce Administration, Talent Acquisition Management, Benefits Administration, and the comprehensive Talent Management suite.
  • Champion initiatives that are intricately aligned with the organization's long-term strategic vision, ensuring the HCM systems adapt and scale according to evolving business needs and technology trends.
Business Process Optimization and Integration:
  • Systematically evaluate and redesign existing system functionalities, operational workflows, and personnel allocations to identify areas for significant process enhancements.
  • Align and integrate business processes with system functionalities, ensuring optimized support for overarching business strategies. This includes crafting solutions that reduce redundancies and enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Actively engage in troubleshooting and resolving systemic discrepancies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the organization.
In-depth Functional and Technical Design:
  • Lead collaborative efforts with stakeholders and application designers to gather comprehensive requirements and conduct detailed user design sessions that reflect both current needs and future growth.
  • Develop and refine functional architectures for new requirements and existing system enhancements, ensuring all technical designs are fully aligned with organizational goals and user expectations.
Comprehensive Testing and Insightful Reporting:
  • Oversee the development and implementation of robust testing strategies for new functionalities and system enhancements, including detailed system integration, user acceptance testing, and process testing to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Innovate and enhance the reporting mechanisms, providing advanced analytics that deliver actionable insights to HCM users, aiding in strategic decision-making and facilitating a data-driven approach in HR management.
Proactive Project Leadership:
  • Define and articulate comprehensive project scopes, establish strategic approaches, and allocate appropriate staffing and resources to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Foster a collaborative project management environment, identifying and effectively addressing cross-team challenges and ensuring seamless communication and problem resolution across all levels of project teams.
Advanced Expert Analysis and Scripting:
  • Employ advanced data manipulation techniques using PeopleSoft Query and Oracle SQL to create and implement customized technical solutions that significantly enhance system functionality and user experience.
  • Focus on developing solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with the long-term strategic needs of the HCM systems.
Data Integrity and Security Management:
  • Uphold the highest standards of data integrity by implementing rigorous validation and verification protocols within the PeopleSoft HCM system.
  • Develop, review, and enforce comprehensive data security policies and protocols, collaborating with IT security teams to ensure adherence to all regulatory compliance standards and to protect sensitive HR information against potential cyber threats.
Data Analysis and Insight Generation:
  • Leverage cutting-edge data analytics tools and methodologies to conduct deep analyses of HR data, extracting trends, patterns, and insights that significantly impact strategic decision-making.
  • Translate complex data findings into clear, understandable, and actionable intelligence for HR and management teams, ensuring these insights drive innovation and effectiveness in HR strategies and practices.
  • Continually assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and programs through rigorous data-driven evaluations, promoting a culture of accountability and evidence-based management.
Enhanced Utilization of Historical Data for Self-Service Optimization:
 
  • Leverage historical HR data to conduct thorough analyses comparing past performance with current self-service functionalities. This will identify patterns and trends that highlight opportunities for further automation within the PeopleSoft HCM modules.
  • Utilize insights derived from historical data analysis to pinpoint specific areas where self-service capabilities can be enhanced, leading to improved user experience and greater efficiency in HR processes.
  • Develop strategic initiatives to implement these enhancements, focusing on reducing manual interventions, streamlining workflows, and ensuring that self-service options are user-friendly and effectively meet the needs of all stakeholders.
  • Monitor and measure the impact of these enhancements on user satisfaction and operational efficiency, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize the benefits of automation and self-service functionalities within the HCM system.
  • Select, develop and motivate personnel within the department. Provide career development for subordinates. Provide prompt and effective coaching and counseling. Responsible for discipline/termination of employees when necessary. Review performance of staff. Create a professional environment that respects individual differences and enables all employees to develop and contribute to their full potential.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
 
REQUIRED:
 
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Management, Data Science, Business Administration, Human Resources, Statistics, or a related field from an accredited college or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in PeopleSoft functional roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership or lead position. 
  • In-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft HRMS and/or Financials Management modules.
  • Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft development tools and methodologies.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience with SQL coding
 
PREFERRED:
  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Experience with Python and/or R
  • Oracle Global Human Resources Cloud Certified Implementation Professional
