Responsibilities
The selected candidate will assist in a variety of operational functions for the Department of Security’s 24/7 Security Command Center (SCC).   Responsibilities include monitoring intelligence and information from the Integrated Electronic Surveillance System (IESS) for situational awareness; timely collection and dissemination of information / documentation; collecting, preparing and analyzing data for studies, reports, alerts and notifications; creating technical reports, interpreting incidents using technical tools and customized system software, and assisting in delivering oral presentations to the Executive Staff.  The selected candidate will also be responsible for monitoring video surveillance, news updates and system bulletins, and delivering timely and comprehensive security notifications to Management and Operations through designated technical platforms.
Education and Experience Requirements
Staff Analyst Trainee II
A Baccalaureate degree in a related field and one (1) year of full-time experience as a Staff
Analyst Trainee I.
Staff Analyst Trainee I
A Baccalaureate degree in a related field from an accredited college.
 
Desired Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to collect, analyze and interpret data from verbal and written sources.
Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Access, as well as MS Windows operating environment.
Must possess the ability to work in a high-intensity environment.  Experience working in intelligence, communications, security, law enforcement, military or data centers are preferred. 
Valid government security clearance is desired.
