This position is open to all current Maintenance Supervisor I and Maintenance Supervisor IIs (Telephones)

Responsibility:
 
This position will be responsible for a variety of tasks associated with the Electronic Maintenance Divisions’ (EMD) Telecommunication Field Operations. Responsibilities will also include creating procedures for Preventive and Remedial Maintenance, updating shared drive content, conducting employee evaluations, providing support for existing telecommunication systems, Public Address systems, Fire Alarm and Emergency Alarm Systems, in house contracts, Capital Contracts and other Telecommunication Field Operation assets in current and future states; supervise in-house installations, provide storeroom oversight; purchase materials and equipment and provide supervisory oversight of
Level I Supervisors to ensure safe and efficient 24X7 operations. Duties and responsibilities will also include payroll and payroll related
duties.

II Salary Range:

1st Year      $112,448
2nd Year     $114,057
3rd Year      $118,067

Education and Experience:

Open to all current Maintenance Supervisor (Telephone) employees.   

Desired Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of electronic equipment maintenance, repair, test equipment and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Experience working with a diverse staff.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience creating procedures for preventive and remedial maintenance.
  • Working knowledge of all NYCT Rules, regulations, and safety procedures.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
