Compensation: 
Salary Range: $84,233 – $119,240 (Grade F, 451 hay points)     
Responsibilities: 
The Manager, New Car & Spare Parts Modification Programs is accountable for the provision of independent Quality Assurance/Quality Control oversight of the Field Modification Instruction (FMI) Program for the R211 subway cars. This position is responsible for ensuring the compliance of modification work with approved technical documents, that the work is performed consistently with the required level of quality to ensure reliability, functionality and verification of the completion of modifications. Additionally, the position is accountable for the management of modifications and revisions to all New Car Contract spare parts. The Manager, New Car & Spare Parts Modification Programs is responsible for ensuring all Contract spare parts are maintained to the latest configurations.
Education and Experience: 
A baccalaureate degree in Business Administration, or a related field with five (5) years of experience of which two (2) years must have been in an administrative/supervisory/managerial capacity or;
A satisfactory equivalent of education and experience.  
Desired Skills: 
Through knowledge of car systems and modification programs gained through at least 5 years’ experience in subway car production, overhaul and maintenance. Experience with quality programs and managing modification programs on new cars.
Selection Method: 
Based on evaluation of education, skills, experience, and interview.
All appointments, with the exception of the Department of Subways employees on MABSTOA payroll, will be made on the NYCT payroll.
