Description

Position Summary 
 Responsible formaintenance, engineering, condition monitoring and managing projects to enhance equipment safety and reliability. 
 
Responsibilities 
  • Perform the design, specifications, repairment, replacement of General purpose turbines, Special purpose turbines, centrifugal pumps, multistage centrifugal pumps, axial compressors, 
    and centrifugal compressors.
  • Perform and assess diagnostics of rotating machinery including vibration, performance, oil analysis.
  • Develop reliability strategies for rotating machinery.
  • Own the rotating machinery predictive maintenance strategy.
  • Perform root cause analysis of failed rotating machinery.
  • Participate in process safety activities as it relates to rotating machinery.
  • Will be working outdoors in all weather conditions, as required.
  • Be on call and work nights and weekends, as required
    Qualifications 
     
    Education, Experience, and/or Training 
    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, and 7 years of experience in related chemical manufacturing or oil & gas industry.
    • Must have 2 years of experience in vibrations analysis (system 1), including analyzing vibration data and troubleshooting. 
    • Must have 1 year of experience in lube oil analysis, including analyzing data and making maintenance recommendations. 
    • Must have 1 year of experience in preventative maintenance, including maintaining and developing preventative maintenance plans and measuring the effectiveness of the program. 
    • Must have 1 year of experience in failure analysis, including reviewing equipment failures and making recommendations to improve reliability. 
      Security Clearance Requirements  
      • Must be eligible to obtain Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).
      Work Schedule 
      • Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.
        Travel 
        • Must be willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time for domestic travel within the U.S. or within the domestic U.S. Gulf Coast region.
