Description

Job Overview: The Rotating Equipment Maintenance Engineer will oversee and execute all maintenance and overhaul activities for plant rotating equipment during both normal operations and Turnaround/Shutdown periods. This role ensures compliance with the company’s Responsible Care (RC) policies and procedures, focusing on enhancing the reliability of plant assets to meet maintenance targets and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance Management: Develop, implement, and oversee maintenance strategies, programs, and activities for rotating equipment. Ensure safe and efficient preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance to meet company targets.
  • People Leadership: Support contractor selection and development, conduct performance reviews, and foster team engagement to achieve performance standards and promote a positive work environment.
  • Contractor Management: Supervise contractor activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, performance evaluations, and the proper use of tools and equipment.
  • Spare Parts Management: Manage spare parts inventory and procurement, ensuring accurate descriptions, cost-effective sourcing, and timely availability for equipment maintenance.
  • Risk Management: Assess equipment risks, conduct root cause analyses, and apply mitigation strategies to ensure safe operations and prevent incidents.
  • Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to address reliability issues, troubleshoot equipment faults, and ensure the seamless execution of maintenance activities.
  • Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with vendors and OEMs, overseeing outsourced services and ensuring adherence to engineering standards.
  • Plant Reliability: Communicate with relevant teams to address plant vulnerabilities and implement reliability improvements through the Management of Change (MOC) system.
  • Responsible Care: Adhere to safety policies, use PPE, and actively participate in health and safety programs to meet company Responsible Care (RC) targets.
