Role Summary

MetaPhase is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Quality Assurance Analyst / Tester to support a mission-critical U.S. Senate engagement. This role will lead quality assurance and testing activities across ServiceNow applications, with a particular focus on Automated Test Framework (ATF), IT Asset Management capabilities, user acceptance testing, and release readiness. The ideal candidate combines hands-on ServiceNow testing expertise with the ability to develop test strategies, engage directly with end users, resolve defects, and ensure solutions meet documented business and technical requirements. 

  

What You Will Be Doing 

  • Design, implement, and execute system, functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing to validate requirements and system reliability. 

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance automated ServiceNow test scripts using Automated Test Framework (ATF) and other appropriate testing tools. 

  • Create test plans, test cases, test scenarios, traceability documentation, test data, and status reports for complex ServiceNow applications. 

  • Lead and coordinate UAT with end users, document results, manage feedback, and support successful acceptance of new functionality. 

  • Identify, document, prioritize, track, and validate resolution of defects while partnering with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders. 

  • Provide QA subject matter expertise throughout the development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, risk assessment, test design, release planning, and deployment readiness. 

  

What We Need From You 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. 

  • 5+ years of relevant quality assurance, software testing, systems testing, or application testing experience. 

  • Hands-on experience testing ServiceNow applications in enterprise environments. 

  • Experience developing and executing automated tests using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF). 

  • Experience supporting ServiceNow IT Asset Management, including Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), and/or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM). 

  • Demonstrated ability to develop QA strategies and test cases, facilitate UAT, troubleshoot defects, communicate testing status, and support reliable production deployments. 

  

Bonus Points 

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), or other relevant ServiceNow certification. 

  • Experience testing ServiceNow integrations, workflows, business rules, catalog items, forms, reports, or custom applications. 

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments and participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives. 

  • Experience using defect and requirements management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms. 

  • Prior consulting or technology delivery experience supporting Federal Government or Legislative Branch clients. 

  • Experience creating reusable QA processes, automated testing assets, testing documentation, and continuous improvement recommendations. 

 

Education Level

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field is required.

Clearance Level

Ability to obtain Public Trust Required; U.S. Citizenship required (NO EXCEPTIONS)
 
Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $95K-$110k.
