Role Summary
In support of this project, MPC is seeking a Program Manager with at least 10 years of program management experience including five in a direct management role – leading teams, conducting strategic planning, leading analysis and visualization, conducting performance and program evaluation, and developing and managing program requirements.
What You Will Be Doing
- Managing a cross-functional team that supports intake of requests and reporting across the organization
- Assessing and validating requirements and submitting those requirements to the proper DHS authorities
- Providing monthly contract status reports to government personnel, including the contracting officer representative (COR)
- Day-to-day communication and coordination with government client
- Coordinating program review meetings and briefing government management in project management reviews (PMRs)
What We Need From You (Required)
- A minimum of 10 years of experience with the federal government or related entities
- At least 5 years of experience leading and managing cross-functional teams
- Previous experience developing and implementing process methodologies for analytic programs
- Assessing and validating requirements and submitting requirements to the proper DHS authorities
- A PMP or CSM certification is preferred but not required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and presentation/briefing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
