Role Summary

MetaPhase Consulting (MPC) is currently supporting our client at the US Department of the Treasury with their project intake and processing functions to include project inquiry, evaluation, estimation, approval, and financial management activities. MetaPhase is seeking a Business Analyst with a minimum of four (4) years of experience supporting business process execution and management in the Federal environment. This individual will help to facilitate routine business operations such as data entry and management, meeting management, document development and refresh, and status reporting. This individual will also be required to consult with office leadership, project analysts, and customers in order to aid in project performance and management activities as well process improvement related initiatives.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Entering and maintaining project and financial related data in ServiceNow.
  • Preparing and maintaining reports and records to include capturing, analyzing, detailing, and updated project information (status, metrics, outputs, etc.)
  • Gathering, consolidating, and analyzing information via engagement with stakeholders and independent research into existing systems and records in support of responding to data calls. 
  • Facilitating meetings to include scheduling and capturing, distilling, and distributing meeting minutes.
  • Updating existing and developing new:
    • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
    • Reference Guides
    • Templates
    • Process Flows
    • Forms
    • Waivers
    • Calendars
  • Maintaining and updating SharePoint Site information and repositories with general office and project specific related information.
  • Supporting recurring project intake and processing related services and Interagency Agreement (IAA) funding renewals.

What We Need From You (Required)  

  • 4+ years of experience supporting a range of standard business functions.
  • Strong customer engagement skills, with the ability to successfully communicate with clients and manage the client relationship and expectations.
  • Sound understanding of and ability to support financial management related activities.
  • Well organized and detail-oriented with the ability to balance multiple work requirements simultaneously.
  • Proactive and self-starter mindset in order to ramp up quickly in a dynamic client environment, pivot to new requirements, and adjust to changing direction.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to articulate information in an effective manner.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Visio, Microsoft SharePoint, and ServiceNow.

Bonus Points (Desired)

  • Experience gathering technical requirements in support of acquisition initiatives.

Work Location

This position is majority remote, but requires the employee to be within the commuting area of Washington, D.C. to support ad hoc, in-office work requirements.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is 95-110k.
