Position Description:
MetaPhase is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst with 8 years of experience to be a part of a IT financial practices study team supporting an enterprise wide review of the processes, financial data, and training in use. It is expected that the Analyst will have a solid background in functional analysis, data analysis, and Federal IT financial practices, and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
The work includes all activities needed to collect, analyze, synthesize, and explain the financial reporting and analytical application and in a collaborative effort with the Government.
Including:
- Oversees and validates the analysis of financial information to satisfy program requirements and create project deliverables.
- Demonstrates extensive expertise in interpreting and communicating information provided by the team through financial modeling, financial statement analysis, and budgeting/forecasting.
- Ensures the accuracy and quality of all analytical products produced by the team.
- Provides functional subject matter expertise for financial system processes.
- Researches and recommends solutions for system or process improvements.
- Conducts independent analysis, proposes solution alternatives, and executes steps to address business process gaps, data issues, and external interface challenges.
- Engages in daily interactions with clients and project managers to align goals and deliverables.
In order to execute these duties effectively, individual must be able to:
- Work independently, self motivated and the ability to drive and own tasks are preferred
- Have strong writing skills and should be able to communicate effectively and comfortably with all levels of client management
- Work well in a collaborative environment, and will be eager to learn new functional methods and subject matter and will be expected to serve as a lead for specific business process areas that are part of this implementation
What We Need From You (Required)
- 8+ years experience in federal government consulting.
- Experience supporting a federal agency responsible for planning, budgeting, and reporting its IT spending to Congress and OMB.
- Demonstrated success operating across tasks that can span business processes, data analysis, financial process support, and/or organizational research analysis.
- Possess strong functional, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Excellent customer service skills.
- U.S. Citizenship required, DHS Suitability preferred or ability to obtain one
Additional Qualifications (Desired):- Have knowledge/ experience with federal financial systems or processes
- Knowledge of DHS’s planning processes, including Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution

Ability to obtain Public Trust U.S. Citizenship required (NO EXCEPTIONS)
Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is 90k-125k.
