We are looking for individuals with 4+ years of accounting experience who are ready to make a substantial contribution to the company’s success! Your expertise will support the processing of corporate transactions, preparation of financial reports, and collaboration across multiple teams such as Global Accounting, Tax, and Technical Accounting. What You’ll Do:
- Manage corporate accounting activities, including consolidation and group-wide processes.
- Prepare and post journal entries with supporting documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Support monthly close processes and deliverables, including intercompany accounts, GL analysis, and internal controls.
- Prepare financial information for internal and external stakeholders.
- Handle key accounting areas, including:
- Cash & bank reconciliation
- Fixed assets
- Intangible assets & amortization
- Payroll
- Lease accounting
- Accruals/provision accounting
- Sales commissions/bonuses
- Income statement analysis
- Loans, debt, and interest accounting
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce risk, and increase efficiency.
- Assist with enterprise-level initiatives such as tax and legal entity optimization, internal controls enhancements, and ERP system improvements.
- Respond to group and statutory audit requests.
- Research, analyze, and communicate accounting issues, escalating as necessary.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite is a strong plus).
- Ability to collaborate across geographies and thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Proactive self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in [Language] and English.
- High attention to detail and the ability to explain complex issues simply.
- Comfortable with a hybrid work schedule (in-office 3 days/week).
- Legal authorization to work in Mexico.
