Senior Account Executive

What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for a commercially driven Account Executive to win new business across the mid-market segment.
This is a true hunter role. You’ll build your own pipeline, create opportunities from scratch, and own the entire sales cycle—from first outreach through to signed contracts. You’ll work with ambitious organisations looking to transform how they use media, social and consumer intelligence, helping them solve real business challenges with Meltwater’s AI-powered platform.
You’ll have the freedom to experiment, the support of an experienced sales team, and the autonomy to build your own approach. We value curiosity, accountability and continuous improvement. What You'll Do:
Generate and close net new business within your assigned mid-market territory, consistently achieving or exceeding your new business quota.
Build and manage a healthy outbound pipeline through strategic prospecting, networking and multi-channel outreach.
Own the full sales cycle, from discovery through demonstration, commercial negotiation and close.
Develop relationships with senior decision-makers and understand their commercial priorities.
Leverage AI tools to research accounts, personalise outreach, improve productivity and increase pipeline generation.
Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and proactively identify risks and opportunities.
Partner closely with Business Development, Customer Success, Marketing and Sales Leadership to maximise opportunities.
Contribute to a high-performing team culture by sharing successful strategies, coaching peers and continually improving how we sell.
What You'll Bring:
5+ years’ success in B2B sales selling SaaS, MarTech, Media Intelligence, PRTech or Marketing Technology solutions.or another consultative new business environment.
Experience selling into mid-market organisations.A proven track record of exceeding quota through outbound prospecting and self-generated pipeline.
Confidence in managing the entire sales cycle independently, including commercial negotiations and closing.
Strong business acumen with the ability to uncover customer challenges and articulate commercial value.
A data-driven mindset—you understand your conversion metrics, inspect your pipeline regularly and know where deals need attention.
Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
A growth mindset, resilience and a genuine desire to continuously improve.
AI-first ways of working. You regularly use AI to improve research, outreach, account planning and productivity.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Willingness to embrace the best of both worlds with our hybrid work schedule. This role requires you to be in the office 3 days a week
The ability to legally work in the country of hire is required for this position.
