What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for a partnerships professional to manage and support our content partnerships across the APAC region. This role is focused on day-to-day relationship ownership, partner enablement, and operational execution, ensuring that local partnerships run smoothly and continue to support our products and commercial teams effectively.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Partnerships – EMEA & APAC, this role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience working with publishers or content partners who enjoys being close to the execution, collaborating cross-functionally, and serving as a reliable point of contact for both internal stakeholders and external partners.

The role is based in Singapore or another city with an established Meltwater office and supports partnerships across Australia/New Zealand, Southeast Asia, and Japan.

What You'll Do:
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with content partners across APAC, including major publishers and local aggregators.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned partners, handling operational issues, coordination, and ongoing communication.
  • Support the execution and administration of existing licensing and partnership agreements, including renewals, updates, and amendments.
  • Serve as a key intermediary between partners and internal teams such as Sales, R&D, Product, and Operations to ensure smooth delivery and usage of licensed content.
  • Enable regional sales teams by ensuring partners, content availability, and use cases are well understood and accurately represented.
  • Assist with partner reporting, performance tracking, and documentation in collaboration with Finance and Operations.
  • Coordinate with Product and Engineering teams to support integrations, content onboarding, issue resolution, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Support the Senior Director with regional partnership initiatives, market-specific requirements, and partner communications.
  • Maintain awareness of local market dynamics, copyright considerations, and emerging AI-related implications as they relate to content partnerships.
  • Work comfortably across multiple markets and time zones, supporting partners in Australia/NZ, Southeast Asia, and Japan

What You'll Bring:
  • Experience in partnerships, account management, business development, or a related role, ideally within media, news, data, or SaaS environments.
  • Prior experience managing relationships with publishers, content providers, or data partners.
  • Solid experience / knowledge of Chinese social media partnerships and familiarity with their terms of service
  • Fluency in English and Chinese (written and spoken) is mandatory
  • Familiarity with the APAC media landscape and regional publisher ecosystems.
  • Working knowledge of copyright considerations and emerging AI-related issues impacting content usage and licensing.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple partners and priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally and acting as a liaison between external partners and internal teams.
  • Clear, professional communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to collaborate across regions and time zones.
