You will be a key partner to Global Accounting, Tax, and Technical Accounting teams, and your insights will contribute to strategic decisions and process enhancements.

You will be a key partner to Global Accounting, Tax, and Technical Accounting teams, and your insights will contribute to strategic decisions and process enhancements.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead corporate accounting activities, including consolidation, group-wide reporting, and complex transactions.
- Prepare, review, and post journal entries and reconciliations with supporting documentation.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including intercompany accounts and GL analysis.
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies, including automation and enhanced reporting tools.
- Oversee key accounting areas, including:
- Cash & bank reconciliation
- Fixed assets
- Intangible assets & amortization
- Payroll
- Lease accounting
- Accruals/provision accounting
- Sales commissions/bonuses
- Income statement analysis
- Loans, debt, and interest accounting
- Participate in enterprise-level initiatives, such as tax & legal entity optimization, ERP implementations, and internal controls enhancements.
- Oversee group and statutory audit requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.
- Research, analyze, and communicate complex accounting issues, providing solutions and recommendations to leadership.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
8+ years of accounting experience, ideally including corporate accounting, consolidation, or audit experience.
Strong proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite is a strong plus). - Proven ability to collaborate across geographies in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to operate independently with strategic insight.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in [Language] and English.
- Experience mentoring junior staff and leading accounting initiatives.
- Comfortable with a hybrid work schedule (in-office 3 days/week).
- Legal authorization to work in Mexico.
