What We’re Looking For:
Meltwater is seeking a passionate and self-motivated Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our team in Toronto on a 4-month contract. In this role, you will support our recruitment efforts across key functions, helping to attract top talent and deliver an exceptional candidate experience. You’ll collaborate with hiring leaders to understand their talent needs and ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process.
At Meltwater, you’ll be part of a global Talent & People team that values growth, collaboration, and innovation. This contract position offers a great opportunity to further develop your recruitment skills while contributing to exciting hiring initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle for assigned roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, feedback collection, and offer preparation.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and provide guidance throughout the hiring process.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by keeping candidates informed and engaged during each stage of the process.
  • Use various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, and talent pipelines, to attract diverse candidates.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to recruitment, including job postings and interview scheduling.
  • Maintain recruitment data and provide regular updates on hiring progress to the team and relevant stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in corporate or agency recruitment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to solving problems and working with hiring leaders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A passion for delivering a great candidate experience and fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive hiring process.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools. Experience with Jobvite is a plus.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, as this role is a 4-month contract and requires managing varying recruitment needs.
