What We’re Looking For:

 

Meltwater is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented, and data-driven Field Marketing Manager to join our expanding Marketing team. The APAC Marketing team at Meltwater is a key growth engine for the business. The team focuses on demand generation to drive sales by working closely with regional sales leadership and global cross-functional teams to support Meltwater’s continued growth in the region.In this role, you will collaborate with the Field Marketing unit to devise and execute strategic campaigns and events, fueling inbound leads, and contributing to pipeline growth and revenue for the sales team.



What You'll Do:
  • Lead marketing strategy, budget, and program calendar for the Greater China region
  • Act as a credible business partner to sales leadership, translating needs into tailored regional marketing.
  • Demonstrate expertise in B2B and persona-based marketing, understanding buyer processes and personas.
  • Execute integrated marketing programs, including account based marketing, trade shows, events, webinars, content, and digital campaigns.
  • Collaborate programmatically with broader marketing teams to scale and succeed in the region.
  • Keep sales informed about marketing activities, from global to local.
  • Track performance, ROI, and set up measurement processes.
  • Utilize insights for improved marketing planning and execution.
  • A collaborative relationship built on trust, with key sales and marketing stakeholders.
  • An understanding of top accounts and key segments that the sales team is targeting and a marketing plan that will activate those accounts and segments   
  • A clear understanding of the Go To Market (GTM) plan and the role that marketing plays in it along with successful execution of pipeline generating campaigns.
  • Successful execution of strategic and scalable ABM programs, developing and executing an integrated plan, and reporting against key marketing objectives 





What You'll Bring:

 

  • 10+ years experience in Field Marketing, account based marketing, event and marketing experience in a technology company
  • A solid understanding of the digital media landscape in China and knowledge of digital marketing channels and strategies, specifically WeChat.
  • Demonstration of a metrics-driven approach and can show ROI by tracking results from activity against budget
  • Proven track-record of success in partnering with sales to generate pipeline
  • An effective team player who excels in fast-paced, high-growth environments and possesses strong skills in prioritization, adaptability, and problem-solving.
  • A self-starter who possesses a growth mindset 
  • A strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between formulating a business strategy, executing the marketing plan, and achieving established metrics.
  • Experience in measuring and analyzing data and developing recommendations based on analysis
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills in English and Mandarin. Proficiency in Cantonese will be a plus. 
  • Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation software. Marketo/Salesforce experience a plus
