We are looking for: 
Licensed Veterinary Technician - Oncology
 
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8a-5p
  
Our Oncology department assists with chemotherapy and radiation treatments, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, as well as client education and communication. This is a fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail, compassion and a desire to drive excellent patient care. 
  
What you’ll do: 
  • Assist with radiation treatments and CT 
  • Client communication over the phone and face to face 
  • Manage appointments and scheduling 
  • Accurate and thorough documentation for medical records 
  • Ability to work in a team  
  • Ability to multi-task 
  
Who you are: 
  • State Registered Veterinary Technician license required 
  • Prior veterinary experience required, previous oncology experience desired 
  • Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.) 
  • Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary 
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation: 
This position has an initial hiring range of $23.00 to $34.00 per hour based on skillset and experience. We support our weekend and overnight caregivers with lucrative shift differentials:
