Position Summary:
The Doctor Coordinator helps support the daily operations of our veterinary team. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth communication, efficient planning and ordering, and coordination among doctors, technicians, and clients. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about animal care and team collaboration.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily workflow, patient cases, and procedures for veterinarians and clinical team
  • Serve as a point of contact between doctors, technicians, and front-desk staff to ensure efficient workflow
  • Monitor case progress, follow up on diagnostics, and ensure timely communication of results and treatment plans
  • Assist in maintaining accurate medical records and workflow orders using Smartflow and ezyVet veterinary management systems
  • Support doctors in managing caseloads and prioritizing urgent or emergency cases
  • Identify and resolve communication conflicts promptly
  • Promote a positive and professional team environment that supports high-quality patient care
  Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a veterinary hospital or animal care setting required.
  • Background as a veterinary technician, assistant, or coordinator strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Proficiency with veterinary practice management software (e.g., Cornerstone, AVImark, ezyVet).
  • Compassion for animals and dedication to excellent client service

Compensation: 
This position has an initial hiring range of $23 to $34 per hour based on skillset and experience.
Schedule:
Rotating overnight shifts including weekends. Enjoy a flexible schedule with options for 4 10-hour shifts or 3 12-hour shifts. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays is highly valued.
