MedVet is excited to announce we are searching for a 2nd veterinary criticalist to join the established Critical Care team at our 24/7 Emergency and Multi-Specialty hospital in Mandeville, Louisiana. We provide a collaborative atmosphere and a team-oriented approach to patient care. The healthcare team includes great clinical services team members (our well-trained technicians) and medical leaders who understand what it takes to build a successful organization.

  • If you enjoy mentoring House Officers, you will love our energetic group of rotating interns at the Mandeville hospital. We also have 2 Internal Medicine residents and 2 Surgery residents; we will add a 3rd Surgery resident this summer. 
  • In addition, we train new ER doctors through our profession-leading, year-long Emergency Clinician Mentorship Program. 
  • The hospital has a highly trained ICU nursing team and is equipped with on-site digital radiology, fluoroscopy, I-131, ultrasound, CT, laparoscopy, endoscopy, high-flow oxygen, ventilatory support, and in-house labs. 
  • Work seamlessly alongside other ER doctors and specialists with our 24/7 sister hospital less than 30 minutes away in New Orleans. With this collaboration, we can provide our patients with all the advanced diagnostics and treatments that MedVet New Orleans' Critical Care and Radiology Services offer, including MRI, dialysis, and plasmapheresis.
