Reporting directly to the Manager, Teleradiology, the Specialist – Teleradiology will provide direct support to the VetRad and MedVet radiologists as well as the MedVet healthcare team and VetRad clients. This role is ideal for someone who has worked in the healthcare industry and enjoys working with people in a challenging and fast-paced work environment. 

Location: This is a remote role working from home, preferably in an area with a MedVet hospital.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 11:30-8:00 EST with a Saturday 9a-2p EST rotation once every 4-5 weeks.
 
What you’ll do:  
 
  • Work directly with radiologists, VetRad clients, MedVet healthcare team members and MedVet Referral Partners.
  • Support VetRad team members with onboarding new clients and new MedVet hospitals.
  • Collaborate on continuous improvement efforts around support, training, process design, and technology implementation.
  • Identify process, training, and software improvement opportunities.
  • Recommend solutions based on analysis and review of requested improvements.
  • Support the maintenance of teleradiology software including data integrity, templates, integrations, and clinical workflows.
  • Manage the resolution of issues identified by our clients and healthcare teams.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to other team members.
  • Collaborate with other areas of support as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain training materials.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, clients, and healthcare teams to maximize efficiency within their workflow.
  • Performs other duties as requested. 
Who you are: 
 
Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 4 years’ experience related to training and software support. Experience in the healthcare and/or veterinary profession required. In addition, this position requires: 
  • Experience with veterinary clinical workflows and processes.
  • Experience with veterinary software (such as DVMInsight, VetMedSTAT, ezyVet, Cornerstone, Smartflow, VetRocket, rVetLink, etc.)
  • Basic knowlege of PACS and imaging workflows
  • Strong Computer Software application skills
  • Expert level of MS Office knowledge
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must have a professional demeanor
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Expert organization and time-management skills
  • Has creative yet practical problem-solving skills; develops and implements scalable solutions and works continuously to improve processes.
  • Ability to travel 10%
