MedVet Commerce is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Dentist to join our growing team in Commerce, Michigan. This is an exciting opportunity for a dentistry specialist, including candidates completing an approved residency, who is interested in developing a Dentistry & Oral Surgery service within a collaborative emergency and specialty hospital.

The hospital provides 24/7 emergency care and sees more than 10,000 patients each year, offering a strong referral environment and opportunities for collaboration across specialty and emergency services.

Our Commerce team currently provides Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, Neurology & Neurosurgery, Surgery, and Urgent Care. A Veterinary Dentist joining the team would have the opportunity to work alongside these services while helping develop Dentistry & Oral Surgery at the hospital.

As part of MedVet's broader specialty network, Dentistry & Oral Surgery encompasses advanced care including endodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, periodontics, restorative dentistry, feline dentistry, and pediatric dentistry. This opportunity offers the ability to build a dentistry service while benefiting from the clinical collaboration, infrastructure, and resources of a multispecialty veterinary organization.

What We're Looking For

• Board-certified Veterinary Dentist or veterinarian who has completed residency training in Dentistry & Oral Surgery
• Current residents nearing completion of their training are encouraged to apply
• Commitment to exceptional patient care and a collaborative approach to specialty medicine
• Interest in developing and growing a Dentistry & Oral Surgery service
• Strong communication skills and a desire to build relationships with referring veterinarians
• Enthusiasm for working alongside emergency, critical care, neurology, and surgery colleagues in a multidisciplinary environment
