Your Mission:

The Director, Medidata Academy directs manages a team focuses on delivering Product Training, Certification Assessments, and Localization Services. The director will drive the overall strategy of the organization and ensure management and development for the entire team

  • Set and execute strategy for the Medidata Academy and associated functions
    • Learning Solution Content Development
    • Product Certification Strategy and Assessments
    • Localization Services
  • Use all available internal metrics to drive efficiency and uptake of outputs
  • Identifies and translates key market/customer needs into offerings and solutions
  • Creates and seeks approval on strategic plan
  • Manage cross-functional relationship with external training team
  • Makes program commitment
  • Manages partner/vendor relationships/deals
  • Identify and recruit talent to ensure effective mix of competencies within the team
  • Effectively on-board new hires in order to quickly maximize performance
  • Set and communicate team/individual objectives and key performance indicators to motivate individuals to achieve high performance
  • Allocate workload to fully utilize every employee’s skills and abilities
  • Implement development plans and coach individuals to reach their maximum potential
  • Provide ongoing constructive feedback on performance and address development needs in a timely manner
  • Recognize high performers to maintain motivation and retain key talent
  • Regularly communicate relevant company information and progress against business plan
  • Provide opportunities for team development and interaction

Your Education & Experience:

  • University degree, preferably in business, marketing or related discipline
  • Master’s degree strongly preferred
  • 7+ years with BS, 5+ years with MS
  • Relevant experience with technology related training
  • eLearning training and design experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrable experience of face-to-face working with clients
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
