Your Mission:

Guardian and caretaker of data, the Clinical Data Steward is a domain expert who is accountable for and manages discrete data subject areas. Our ideal candidate has deep life science expertise operating at the intersection of data management, clinical science and data science. 

Your Competencies:

  • Expert knowledge of clinical concepts, data sources and state of the industry 

  • Ensures accuracy, reliability, and consistent interpretation of data and analytics

  • Interacts fluidly with business and technical stakeholders 

  • Engages with customer medical/scientific leads 

  • Advocates for customer clinical/medical perspectives and inquiries, translating them into actionable approaches

  • Knows who to consult to find answers

  • Partners with data architects and data science engineers to inform data extraction and transformation

  • Has strong verbal and written communication skills, able to interact effectively and persuasively with a variety of audiences

  • Demonstrated project leadership and accountability for deliverables

  • Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to define and execute against work plans

Your Education & Experience:

  • BS or MS in life sciences or healthcare 

  • 5+ years of clinical trial or related life science experience

  • Preferred specialization in cancers, including diagnosis, pathology, and treatments

  • Familiarity with EDC systems, RWD or other data management systems

  • Proficiency in SQL and/or other programming languages (e.g. Python, R) 

  • Knowledge of Agile processes prefered
