Your Mission:

This position will develop specific product marketing plans and activities for Medidata’s Patient Cloud  suite of solutions including myMedidata (Medidata’s Patient Portal), Rave eCOA, Rave eConsent and Rave Wearable Sensors in order to establish, enhance and distinguish these solutions in product placement within the competitive clinical trials arena. Working with the Product Marketing team, this high-profile job is also responsible for development of support collateral that focuses on the value and differentiation of these solutions working together on a unified platform and with other related products like Rave EDC. In addition to formulation of strategic product marketing plans for each product and group of products, the role is responsible for all content development for Fact Sheets, Infographics, Customer-facing slides, Case Studies, Videos, Webinars, and all other related content for the Medidata website. The position also supports industry events like SCOPE, DIA, and ASCO as well as Medidata’s NEXT series of customer meetings.

This position works with the product development team, product marketers and gobal and demand marketing and sales enablement to develop and communicate go to market plans and product positioning in the marketplace that demonstrate the value of Medidata’s Patient Cloud solutions to multiple customer segments (large and mid-size pharmaceutical and biotech companies, and CROs) and personas, including C-suite personnel. As much as possible, this messaging should be evidence-based. This position also works with the Competitive Intelligence team to monitor competitive activity and to identify customer needs and works with product management and customer-facing personnel to enhance existing products.

Applicant should be a highly experienced product marketing professional with significant experience in the clinical trial area, preferably with a focus on patient-related solutions, who is able to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways. The applicant should have strong communication skills (verbal and written). Applicant should demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions and be able to network with senior internal and external personnel in the marketing and technology/clinical trial space.  

Your Competencies:

  • Candidate should be a highly productive, self-starter able to produce high quality, targeted sales collateral and other related outputs on time.
  • Candidate needs excellent verbal and written communication skills, outstanding project management expertise and the ability to effectively work across a matrixed organization
  • Candidate should be a team player able to effectively work with a wide range of both internal personnel and outside vendors, from technical functional experts (e.g., programmers, product managers) to creative (e.g., writers, ad agencies)

 Your Education & Experience:

  • Candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of related experience in healthcare and specifically drug development/clinical trials and experience with patient-centric technology, with a Bachelor’s degree; or 5-7 years of similar experience and a Master’s degree.
